Jonathan lives in London and is a previous Programmes Intern for AbleChildAfrica. He graduated from Royal Holloway University of London with a degree in Human Geography. Jonathon has previously volunteered at a residential centre in Johannesburg, South Africa for adults with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their maximum potential and increase confidence in the workplace. Jonathan also teaches swimming to all ages and abilities including those with disabilities. Jonathan has cerebral palsy and his interest in swimming began when he was competing nationally for the City of Cambridge, in the S9 classification. He has always had an active interest in child and disability rights internationally and hopes his time on the Youth Council will build upon his knowledge and experience in this area.
