James Moon


James joined the Board of Trustees in January 2017 bringing with him 10 years of experience in the not for profit and social sectors. James is currently an Advisory Manager at CAF, supporting charities to become more resilient, foundations to increase their impact by developing bold initiatives and advising individuals and corporates on their philanthropy.
Before joining CAF, James worked at Volonteurope a European Network focussed on social justice in the advocacy and policy space. In particular James supported over 50 organisations across 23 different countries to improve their capacity and organisational effectiveness. Before this James worked as a Programme Manager at Volunteering Matters and at educational charity Springboard. Both of these roles involved a combination of strategic and operational work.
James has volunteered across a wide range of causes his first being during the Tsunami of 2004 when he volunteered in Sri Lanka and Thailand.
