Adanna is 24 and from London with West African heritage. She is studying an MSc in Development Management at LSE and has an International Politics undergraduate degree from KCL. She has worked as a graduate intern at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and as an ambassador on the British Council’s Study Abroad programme. Adanna is passionate about development issues in Africa, particularly empowering women and young people, increasing access to education and advancing social inclusion. Adanna hopes her Youth Council position will allow her to engage in much needed discussions about children’s disability rights in Africa and help to raise more awareness for the cause.
