Jen Truman

Finance and Administration Executive

Jen joined AbleChildAfrica as Finance and Administration Officer in June 2017. She graduated with a BSc Hons in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, where she was born and spent most of her life. After graduating in 2012, Jen spent the next few years living and working abroad, including working for a student volunteer organisation in the USA and Teaching English as a Second Language in Sri Lanka. She has aims to continue working in International Development, to travel all over the world and to become fluent in Spanish.


She is passionate about refugee aid and uses some of her spare time to volunteer in Calais with Help Refugees and Refugee Community Kitchen, to provide food and clothes to migrants and asylum seekers in the Calais and Dunkirk region. Jen enjoys running, hiking, theatre, socialising with friends and family and traveling as much as possible.
