Ephraim Lemmy Nuwagaba (PhD) is a firm believer in social justice and an experienced education and development specialist with more than 25 years’ experience with NGOs, and 13 with University at both managerial and leadership levels. Ephraim has previously worked as a Programme Director of the National Adult Education Association of Uganda, Chairperson of a local government Council, and founding Honorary Secretary of Uganda Adult Education Network (a network of Adult Education NGOs in Uganda).
He has a wide range of experiences from a variety of contexts as a result of being trained from the University of Zambia – Zambia, Makerere University – Uganda and University of KwaZulu Natal – South Africa and working in projects in different geographical and socio-cultural contexts. His interests are in the area of qualitative research, inclusive education, disability, livelihoods and microfinance, advocacy and development of education and communication materials. Dr. Nuwagaba is currently Senior Lecturer at Kyambogo University, Uganda and Vice Chairperson, Board of Directors of National Association of Professional Environmentalists, an environmental advocacy NGO.
