On Friday 3rd December 2021, we hosted our 10th Annual Gala and celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities. After the challenges of the past two years, it was great to connect with our donors and supporters in-person to support children with disabilities in Africa.

To help commemorate the night we had special live performances from comedian Aaron Simmonds and the night was MC’d by comic Eshaan Akbar! Our patron, Ellie Robinson, delivered an incredibly moving and inspiring speech on the night as well.

Debuting on the night was the story of Lucy who is a six-year-old girl who was born with cerebral palsy in Malawi and her parents Fred and Dorothy. We had the honour of telling Lucy and her family’s story and demonstrating the impact Able Child Africa and FEDOMA were able to have to reach out to children like Lucy.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed and supported our 10th Annual Gala.  It was a truly worthwhile night where we were able to make a massive difference by all the money raised and will help us change the lives of children with disabilities in Africa.

Overall our 10th Annual gala was amazing, we would like to say a huge thank everyone who contributed and supported our 10th Annual Gala especially our sponsors Exile Group and Azad Ayub.
